Andrew Baggott
Andrew Baggott is CN's Managing Partner, having been so since 2004 when he acquired the firm. Prior to this, he gained many years' experience at one of the top four UK firms and a large corporate finance led https://cnca.co.uk/corporate-finance/independent practice.
He specialises in delivering strategic business planning advice to business owners and entrepreneurs so they can achieve the best results possible for their endeavours and maximise returns. Andrew also heads up the Corporate Finance team who undertake a complete range of transactions for clients.
Scott Herbert
IFA Partner in CNFP LLP
Scott Herbert
Scott joined forces with Andrew Baggott to set up IFA firm CNFP LLP shortly after Andrew bought the business back in 2004. Under their stewardship they have built and developed the CN brand and service delivery.
Scott has 35 years work experience and has held roles within some of the UKs leading Financial services companies.
He holds professional qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Pension management institute and the Chartered insurance institute. He is also a proud member of the prestigious Russell Study Group in London, which is made up of some the countries most experienced and leading financial specialists.
Scott provides friendly financial advice to clients all over the Uk who benefit from his wealth of experience and wisdom.
When not working Scott enjoys family time with his wife and adult children and not forgetting his 4 dogs!
He enjoys travelling, boating, walking (the 4 dogs), Real Ale and is a lifetime Manchester City supporter.

Graham Travis - Partner
Graham Travis is a partner at CN and joined the business in 2010. Graham has attained a wealth of experience in accountancy having worked for international and independent practices prior to CN. He specialises in audit and business advisory services.
Paul Mellor

Paul Mellor - Partner
Paul joined CN in 2004, and became partner in 2011. He is relationship partner specialising in owner managed businesses from start-ups, family businesses and larger businesses. He ensures clients receive the best advice on business structure, tax savings, and evolving the business as it grows.
Paul is also training partner at CN, overseeing the training and development of accountancy students training within the business.
Ryan Conlon

Ryan Conlon – Tax Director
Ryan joined CN Chartered Accountants in 2025 as Tax Director.
After qualifying with a 'Big Four' firm, Ryan gained further experience with national and local accountancy firms as well as specialist tax practices.
Ryan is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and has technical expertise across private client and owner-managed business taxation including business structuring and reorganisations, inheritance planning, trusts and residence matters. He also has significant experience managing HMRC enquiries, investigations and disclosures.

Maxine Brown joined CN in 2024. Maxine has over 30 years of knowledge in tax, accounts and business matters.
Gareth Jones

Gareth Jones - Director
Gareth Jones is Director at CN and joined the business as a graduate having completed his degree in finance management. He has completed his accountancy qualification with CN and developed through the ranks to director where he manages a team and also a portfolio of clients specialising in owner managed businesses and start up's.
Claire Espley

Claire Espley – Manager
Claire, who started working at CN after she finished Aquinas college as a trainee, has been with the company for nearly thirteen years. She is ACA qualified and has built up her own client base – working with many clients that range from small business start-ups, family-run businesses and also larger businesses.
Claire is on-hand to help with year-end accounts, VAT returns and managements, as well as providing training on various computer software packages.

Adam joined CN in August 2025 with over 18 years experience in Accountancy. Prior to following his father and uncle's footsteps with a career in accountancy, Adam worked as a football coach in the UK, USA and France.

Susan who has over 20 years of payroll experience joined CN in early 2023 and is an integral part of the service offering to our existing and future clients.
John Crawford

John Crawford - Tax Manager
John joined the firm in 2022 as the Tax Manager, assisting Tony Jakara in the day to day running of the tax department. John has been in tax ever since graduating from university in 2013 and has worked in both specialist tax firms and other regional firms of accountants. As well as managing the compliance of the department, John assists Paul Draper with various tax advisory projects that the firm undertakes.

Leon joined CN as an Audit Senior in 2023, with extensive experience in audit and financial reporting. Leon is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and manages a team of trainees, supporting them through their professional development while overseeing a wide range of client audits. He has worked internationally, bringing a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality service to clients.

Fathima Khan is an Audit Manager at CN, joining in 2024 as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)). She leads and mentors a team of trainees while overseeing audits across a range of industries. With international experience and a strong technical background, Fathima delivers high-quality assurance and practical insights, building lasting client relationships and adding value beyond compliance.
