Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants are delighted to announce their newest addition to the accounts team, Tax Manager, John Crawford.
John joins the Clarke Nicklin team as a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and is also a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA). He was looking for a change after being at his previous firm for four years. After graduating from Edinburgh university in 2013, knowing he wanted to be in the accountancy and finance industry, John secured his first role as a Tax Trainee, and the rest is history.
The main focus of John’s role will be to manage the tax compliance of the business, whilst assisting with other tax advisory work as it presents itself. When asked what John’s first impression of Clarke Nicklin was, he said: “Everyone I have met so far seems down to earth and fairly relaxed, more specifically the tax department are very friendly and willing to help and assist me whilst transitioning to learn how everything works.”
