As you will no doubt have read, the Chancellor has scrapped plans for an autumn budget. No new date has been announced. January 2021 is possible although, traditionally, March has been the month for budgets.
We have previously highlighted the opportunity for considering tax and financial planning measures ahead of tax increases and pension changes which seem likely to be announced when the budget does take place.
The delay is good news, we now have more time to think about what can be done.
