Stockport Business Awards are now in their 6th year, bigger and better than ever the awards celebrate business success in the borough and are now established as one of the best nights in the Stockport Business calendar.

The awards have always been supported by local businesses and this year organisers are delighted to welcome Michelle Hay Health & Safety Training to the team. Michelle Hay are sponsoring the new ‘Best Food or Drink Retailer’ category and Michelle comment’s; “I’m thrilled to be sponsoring the very first Stockport Business Award for Food and Drink Retailer. The food and drink industry has been, and still is, a passion of mine. To be able to sponsor likeminded retailers makes sense. Good luck to all the entrants.”

The winner of this category will need to show how they have built a sustainable, profitable bar, restaurant or retail food business. The judges will be looking for good general business practice but will also want to learn specifically how the business has thrived in this competitive sector. This award has been added to the event this year as a result of the recent flurry of thriving food and drink retailers popping up in the area.
