'Our vision is to become your partner and understand your business, your finances, your business problems and your aspirations'.

Corporate Social Responsibility

At Clarke Nicklin, we understand how important it is to support our local communities. That’s why as a business we work as team and focus on ways in which we can make a difference within the community. We know that corporate social responsibility isn’t just about charitable fundraising but is about having a corporate conscience, and encouraging a positive influence in our community.

Each year we nominate a charity, to receive any funds we raise as a business. This year we are raising money for The Christie. The Christie raises money to fund research into new cancer drugs and treatment options, and is an incredible support function for patients and families.

Over the next year Clarke Nicklin employees will be entering runs, bike rides and coming up with lots of fundraising ideas to help raise as much as possible in 2018. If you would like to find out more about the work that The Christie does visit their website http://www.christie.nhs.uk/the-christie-charity/ or if you would like to help Clarke Nicklin raise money for The Christie, visit their JustGiving page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/clarke-nicklin.

Developing Future Generations

We work with the pioneer 10 programme to help grow businesses within the stockport area. Pioneer 10 is a fully-funded programme led by inspiring business experts. Featuring workshops, tools, support and a business awards programme it has been designed for small, ambitious businesses in Stockport. Based at Stockport Business and Innovation Centre, Pioneer 10 is operated by Oxford Innovation and supported by Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council. The programme is available to entrepreneurs and businesses at all stages to help drive growth and development.

We support local college Aquinas by speaking and presenting to students on career days about possible routes in to a career in accounting.

We have worked and supported the NCS programme, where students develop their speaking, listnening and socialisation skills.

Stockport Business Awards & Networking

The Stockport Business Awards is an event that has been organised with the aim of celebrating business excellence within the Stockport Borough and the hope of creating a business community in the area. Clarke Nicklin are the organisers and main sponsors of the annual award dinner, where we will recognise, reward and showcase the very best that Stockport has to offer. On an on-going basis, Stockport Business Awards will support a quarterly networking event called Stockport Business Networking. This event gives Stockport Business people a chance to relax after a day in the office and meet like-minded business people.

Staff Well Being

As part of our commitment to keep our staff healthy and happy in the work place, we have partnered with Stockport based gym, Life Leisure, who have been in to the Clarke Nicklin office to help keep our staff on the right track when it comes to health and well being. All staff had the opportunity to use their Boditrax equipment to measure health followed by a one to one with advice on how to make improvements. A talk about nutrition, posture improvement at desks and also how to manage stress was also given. Life Leisure will keep popping in to the office to offer advice and see how our staff are getting on.
